RIMA

MV22 - Jonas Olsson 2005

In 2010, Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling were married at Stockholm's Storkyrka. In preparation for the royal wedding, the church underwent cleaning and renovations while Möbelverket was busy crafting 200 new chairs for the grand occasion. After the dust had settled and a few final design tweaks were made, Rima became a permanent addition to Möbelverket's collection.

Rima was designed to work particularly well in large gathering spaces like Storkyrkan where quality and craftsmanship are valued as much as functionality such as stackability and linked rows. Rima has however showed itself to be a wonderful dining chair too.
